Absolutely the nicest dining and hanging out experience. Every time I stopped by I had the best service. Love their food and if you're lucky to stop by on their taste of the world's or wine dinner's you'll be glad you did. Everyone is very loving and caring, be it a staff or just people you come across. Ordered through Uber Eats. BEST chicken Parmesan I’ve ever had!!! Wow! And it was a massive portion too! The Caesar salad dressing was delicious and the cheesecake - amazing!!! Very impressed! Will definitely eat here again.

My wife and I recently had dinner at The Barton House in Salado for a work meeting, and we were blown away by the experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely incredible. I had the pork chop, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and beautifully presented with mashed potatoes, broccolini, and crispy bites on the side. Our server, Eric, provided outstanding service. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly for our group. It really made the evening even more enjoyable. This place is a gem in Salado. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family. Great job to the whole team!

Absolutely a must while in Salado. Our first time visit to this adorable little town. Barton house staff greeted us with smiles and served a fabulous brunch. My sister enjoyed the exceptional eggs benedict perfectly done. I had the salmon dish which was perfection. Highly recommend. Also you must take a tour of this historical building and check out the speakeasy downstairs!

Our experience was amazing. The location is beautiful, and there's so much history there. The food was delicious and not terribly priced. Our server Freya was so attentive and we loved the woman at the host stand who told us about the history (didn't catch her name). We also enjoyed the wine and tequila we got as well. We'll definitely return.

Great experience! Made a reservation on their website 9am for a 1145 Saturday brunch. We were pleasantly surprised at the uniquenesses of this place! iI you have anyone with heels drop them at the steps because they have a circle driveway and parking on both sides (walk up to entrance is not an improved road-but doable-but I had to walk very carefully). There are a few different dining room options, each with its own vibe and just the coolest details. They also have outdoor covered seating with beautiful views. We explored and let me tell you...if you haven’t been here-try it and explore-you will not be disappointed! Our server was very good; he and the manager checked on us just the right amount of times. Our food was hot and delicious. Out of all dishes we had, everyone shared the rest of the tomato soup my adult son couldn’t finish-and we instantly wished we’d gotten the Wisconsin cheese bfast sandwich to pair. Quiche(perfection), Salmon cake Benedict (delicious, light and airy cake-could’ve used a biscuit or potatoes to soak up the tasty sauce left on the plate-hubby used a couple of mine) omelette(very good, needed more cheese-potatoes were delicious) I didn't like the sweet arugula salad-a savory lemon vinaigrette would have been perfect! All that said, they would’ve been more than accommodating to add any of these options.

Salados best spot for fine (though not overly formal) food and it’s really not close. Our group had tuna, pork chops, lasagna, burgers and fettuccine- if there’s weak spots in the menu, we weren’t able to find it. Wait staff is friendly and accommodating. Wine selection is a strength as well. Easy 5 stars!
